The Immunefi platform is developed and operated by Immuni Software Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based company. Separately, the IMU token is stewarded by the Immunefi Foundation, an independent entity responsible for administering token-related programs and ecosystem incentives. The platform and the token are distinct, with the operating company delivering security services and the Foundation overseeing token utilities and distributions.
Immunefi is best known for enabling large-scale bug bounty programs and audit competitions, which allow protocols to engage global security researchers in identifying vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. Beyond crowdsourced security, Immunefi provides a broader set of cybersecurity products and services designed to support protocols during live operation. These include continuous monitoring and detection, preventive security controls such as firewall and runtime protection systems, code reviews, and incident response support. Together, these offerings allow protocols to move from periodic, point-in-time security reviews toward continuous security operations.
The IMU token is designed to support participation and incentives within the Immunefi ecosystem and is administered by the Immunefi Foundation. Token utilities are structured around platform usage and contribution to positive security outcomes.
Immunefi’s long-term objective is to provide a comprehensive security platform for the onchain economy, combining crowdsourced security, continuous monitoring, preventive controls, and coordinated response into a single system that supports protocols as they scale and evolve.
