The METAi Index is a capitalization-weighted index.
METAi Index Construction
The METAi Index is a digital asset index designed to track tokens’ performance within the Metaverce industry. The index is weighted based on the value of each token’s circulating supply and liquidity. The METAi Index aims to track Metaverce projects in Decentralized Finance that show a commitment to ongoing maintenance and development.
Token Inclusion Criteria
As part of the inclusion assessment, METAi Index considers a wide range of characteristics of the token, the project and the protocol. These criteria can be placed in four groups:

Permissionless open space for any type of person where agents can collaborate/trade/communicate/govern with others for satisfying their economic/social/political/entertainment needs in commutation with other users and alone as well. The range of variety of activities tends to the real world's range.
One of the important properties and assets of Metaverse is the user avatar, which can be upgraded and tend to be perceived for a user live his own version in a virtual world or even user can change focus from his boring physical life to interesting life of his avatar in Metaverse. So, the user will treat his avatar like himself in real life. Transferring from real-world life to avatar centric life can satisfy the social and individual personal needs of users in a more easy way that are not satisfied in real life. So, it’s better to invest in projects which potentially can deliver this outcome in future or even now.
