What Are Polychain Monsters Land Genesis (PMLG) Tokens?
Polychain Monsters Land Genesis (PMLG) Tokens are part of the play-to-earn and collect-to-earn feature of the blockchain game, Polychain Islands.
Polychain Islands is part of Polychain Monsters’ ecosystem. Find more info on Polychain Monsters below.
In Polychain Islands you can collect digital monsters (Polychain Monsters) and produce resources to participate in the gamified economy of Polychain Islands.
Land is one of the most valuable assets in Polychain Islands — and the Polychain Monsters ecosystem. The PMLG Token entitles holders to mint land in the upcoming Polychain Islands game.
Each land is backed by an NFT. This makes them tradable, sellable and otherwise freely accessible, similar to the rest of the elements in the current Polychain Monsters universe.
Large collections of islands are grouped together into archipelagos. Each archipelago is differentiated
from one another by their unique biomes, e.g.
the White Beach Archipelago
the Green Grasslands Archipelago
the Yellow Mountain Archipelago
The entirety of an archipelago consists of a number of three different island types. These are:
Several large, Central Islands
1,000 player-owned Genesis Personal Islands
3,000 player-owned Personal Islands
Genesis Islands are available on Ethereum.
At the center of each archipelago there are large central islands where a lot of the bigger, multiplayer-focused attractions are based — such as the Polymon Wild Zone or the Polymon Arena. These central locations are designed for players to invite each other to in order to create memorable multiplayer experiences together.
Scattered around these central islands are outcrops of many smaller islands. These smaller islands are player-owned and single-player-centric in gameplay. Their most important feature focuses on the ability to farm important resources, which are integral to many of the other parts of the Polychain Islands gaming experience.
The first land drop revolves around the Grassland Archipelago via PMLG Tokens, which can be found on the Ethereum blockchain. Every plot is backed by an NFT, providing secure ownership. This makes land plots tradable, sellable and otherwise freely accessible, similar to the rest of the elements in the current Polychain Monsters universe.
What is the difference between $PML and $PMLG Tokens?
Of the two types of islands available for player ownership, there is an important distinction to be made between Genesis and Personal Islands. While Genesis Islands have similar features to those of Personal Islands, they also natively generate our new $PML token. $PML tokens are the only way to mint Personal Islands and are hard-capped at the amount necessary to generate 3,000 islands in an archipelago.
Community members will be able to mint their own Genesis Islands through a new token called $PMLG (Polychain Monsters Land Genesis). Exchanging 1,000,000 $PMLG will enable their owner to mint a Genesis Island through our new website portal.
How can you acquire Polychain Monsters Land Genesis (PMLG) Tokens?
As there are a variety of ways to interact with the Polychain Monsters ecosystem, we wish to reward each type of collecting method with their own chance to collect $PMLG. That being said, we have plans to incorporate three ways to earn $PMLG tokens:
Part of the total $PMLG supply can be claimed weekly by our collector stakers in accordance with their Collector Scores.
Part of the total $PMLG supply can be obtained by staking $PMON on Ethereum, BSC and Polygon.
Part of the total $PMLG supply will be available in our Polymon Booster Packs (in the form of “Land Tickets” which can be exchanged for $PMLG on the Polychain Monsters website).
Aside from their resource-generating utility, owning a Genesis Island enables you to harvest $PML (Polychain Monsters Land) tokens at a set rate. Collecting enough $PML enables you to mint a Personal Island, which acts as a buildable NFT containing important Polychain Island resources.
As the total number of Genesis Islands is restricted by a hard-cap of 1,000 instances per archipelago, $PMLG, $PML and Personal Islands also exist in finite quantities. There can only ever be 3,000 Personal Islands per archipelago, and both $PMLG and $PML are limited in issuance to ensure that these quantities are kept as intended.
How Many Polychain Monsters Land Genesis (PMLG) Token Are There in Circulation?
The total token supply is capped at 1,000,000.00 PMLG.
###What are Land Tickets?
Currently, you may discover Land Tickets for the Grassland archipelago in Polymon Booster Packs on Ethereum.
A Land Ticket, which you may discover in Booster Packs, can be swapped for the equivalent amount of $PMLG required to mint one Genesis Island on the Genesis Island minting portal — so, in essence, one Land Sale ticket is equal to one Genesis Island. Land Tickets are transferable, so they may be traded and sold amongst eager buyers and sellers on third-party marketplaces. A detailed guideline on how to swap Land Tickets to $PMLG will be published soon.
For this Land Drop, there are a total of 250 Land Tickets to be found throughout our Polymon Booster Packs. 50 of these 200 tickets will be dispersed in four separate release rounds, each with varying odds of discovery.
These release rounds, and their respective odds of discovering a Land Ticket in any given Booster Pack, are as follows:
Round 1 — Odds of finding 1 of 50 Land Tickets = 1:400 booster packs
Round 2 — Odds of finding 1 of 50 Land Tickets = 1:650 booster packs
Round 3 — Odds of finding 1 of 50 Land Tickets = 1:1000 booster packs
Round 4 — Odds of finding 1 of 50 Land Tickets = 1:3000 booster packs
What Is Polychain Monsters (PMON)?
Polychain Monsters is essentially a trading game created using blockchain technology and borrowing the mechanics of the popular in the 90s Pokémon cards trading. The right mix of nostalgia and technology, it was launched right into the NFT craze of Q1 2021. Each Polychain Monsters digital monster is a collectible artifact with unique properties and rarity. PMON is a native ETH-20 token of the Polychain Monsters platform, necessary if one wants to purchase new Polychain Monsters or to unlock new features.

Polychain Monsters was founded in early March 2021 and it soon secured a $740,000 funding round from six strategic investors, led by Moonrock Capital and Morningstar Ventures. An IDO (initial dex offering) event at Polkastarted on Mar. 31, 2021 has helped the founders raise approximately $100,000. Two weeks after launch, it has successfully placed itself among the [top ten] (https://etherscan.io/topstat#Token) most used ETH tokens, burning millions only on gas fees.
Who Are the Founders of Polychain Monsters?
Polychain Monsters was founded by three software professionals from Bremen, Germany: Leif Eric Leiser, Lennart Brandt and Finn Hansen.
Leif Eric Leiser is the team’s CEO and software engineer. In parallel with Polychain Monsters as of April 2021, he worked as software engineer at a DeFi platform Tixl.Finance and is running eco-shop chain Beleaf as co-founder and software engineer. Before that, he has had numerous short contract jobs and internships in software engineering and product development, including such companies as Philips, Lufthansa and Elbstack. He holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Hamburg University of Technology, which he finished in 2018.
Lennart Brandt is Polychain Monsters chief marketing officer (CMO), chief product officer (CPO) and software developer. He is also known as the founder of JoinWeBurn.com, a popular fitness app. Like Leiser, he worked on Tixl.Finance in the position of a UX designer and up to founding Polychain Monsters has also worked at Elbstack, a German software company, as a serial entrepreneur for various projects, playing roles of product designer and react native developer as well. He has a bachelor’s in business informatics (BI) from IBS IT & Business School Oldenburg.
Finn Hansen is the third partner, who serves Polychain Monsters as a full-stack software engineer. Along with the other two co-founders, he worked at DeFi platform Tixl.Finance, where he holds the position of software engineer.d

How Is the Polkamon Network Secured?
PMON tokens are standard ERC-20 tokens, while the Polkamons can be minted as ERC-721, a non-fungible token, meaning that it runs on and is secured by the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum, in turn, is secured by its Ethash proof-of-work function.ERC-20 merely defines a set of rules for tokens, as well as security considerations mainly related to the strength of the Ethereum network. For example, congestion can hike the price of gas needed to perform transactions, leading to delays and abnormally high transaction fees, which impact all participants. This has already happened in the early days of Ethereum when in 2017 the first popular game based on smart contracts called CryptoKitties has completely clogged the network.
