What Is Power Protocol(POWER)?
Power Protocol is a new open-source governance platform for communities, launched in January of 2023 on the Waves blockchain, by Waves team. Built to disintermediate the greatest intermediary on the planet, government. With rewards for good decisions and penalties for bad, Power Protocol creates the first goal based governance system.
POWER is the governance token that is used for voting in MotherDAO and the ChildDAOs.
Governance design innovations:
* KPI-based governance: Uses blockchain to achieve consensus based on the goals the community wants to achieve
* Participation incentivesReward: $PWR to actors that help the community achieve its goal, and penalizes those who do not
* Reputation: Is transparent with good actors accruing more $PWR, bad actors losing their $PWR token
* Self-stratification: In PowerDAO enables any community to propose and generate a new ChildDAO using the PowerDAO infrastructure
