QRBase is a gamified engagement platform built on the Base blockchain. It introduces milestone-based reward mechanics using QR codes that become progressively visible as partner tokens reach higher market caps. The platform is powered by its native token, $SCAN, which serves as the utility token for accessing QR code rewards.
QRBase allows any Base project to list their token and create a dedicated QR campaign page. Each campaign ties the QR code reveal to predefined market cap milestones. As the market cap grows, QR code pieces are revealed in real time. Once fully visible, the QR code can be scanned and claimed via the Base App through a Linkdrop integration, ensuring a secure and gasless claiming process.
The first QRBase campaign was launched with $SCAN as the native coin, featuring a $1,000 prize pool distributed to the first three scanners at a $200,000 market cap. A second round is now live, offering $3,000 to the first ten scanners when $SCAN reaches a $1M market cap. Multiple projects have since launched QR campaigns on QRBase, including $DEGEN, $DRB, $BENJI, $DOGINME, $CLIZA, $RUSSELL, and $TOSHI, contributing to a combined prize pool of over $10,000.
The QRBase platform emphasizes user interaction and onchain utility. Participants must hold a minimum amount of the project token to view QR pieces as they unlock. This “hold-to-reveal, scan-to-win” model incentivizes community growth and token holding while increasing visibility for emerging projects.
