WHAT IS WPL?
WPL is a platform token based on the BEP-20 standard of the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). WPL is intrinsically tied to the WorldPlus Application, as well as a new product Fomi, a platform where celebrities can send personalized video messages to their fans for a fee.
WPL TOOLS INCLUDE
Users of the “WorldPlus” digital magazine application who subscribe to the $5.99 / month subscription will receive 10% of the subscription fee back as WPL tokens (roughly 1710 WPL tokens). Users will also receive additional tokens through regular usage of the app, such as by reading magazines and viewing ads. A new menu with a token bonus wallet will be added to version 2.0 of the WorldPlus app when it is due for release in early Q2 of 2022.
WorldPlus will use 10% of the WorldPlus revenue, including subscription revenue after distribution to the publishers and advertisement revenue too, to buy and burn tokens in circulation. It will affect to decrease the supply and thereby, increase the price.
Technology solution.
a) Usage-based payment system. Blockchain technology will allow magazine publishers to get paid more fairly by tracking usage data when magazines are liked, shared, etc.
b) Reliable content-distribution platform. Blockchain-linked distribution platforms are most reliable in terms of protecting intellectual property, detecting and preventing piracy and unauthorized sharing through unique cryptographic identifiers.
c) The right to use intellectual property. Due to the risk of intellectual property disputes in authorship, translation and coauthor ship, blockchain technology can be used to accurately record intellectual property and create an equal income distribution.
d) Advertising revenue for publishers. As advertising revenue for digital magazines is growing faster than ads for print magazines, blockchain-based platforms have the advantage of placing ads and generating revenue directly to publishers with the advent of interactive advertising in digital magazines.
e) Decentralized Publishing and Usage rights for publishers. The biggest problem for publishers is intellectual property theft, publishing, and selling their intellectual property by non-legal authors. It's possible to solve this issue through licenses in the blockchain.
The Proof of Participation (POP):
Revenue sharing is based on the following to be fair to all participants.
• Percentage or pages read of magazine issues (Usage data)
• Clicks on magazines in the platform
• Clicks on in-app ads and purchases.
Additional consumption-based incentives:
• Users can use the WorldPlus application to receive bonus tokens based on usage. In other words, users will be able to accumulate additional tokens by using the company’s services.
SUPPLY BREAKDOWN OF WPL
The first IEO was conducted on November 9, 2021, with 18,000,000,000 (10%) offered out of a total of 180,000,000,000 tokens at genesis. Each token is worth MNT 1 = USD 0.000351. Of the total Supply, 1% will be kept by strategic investors who will be locked in for 3 years, 10% will be kept by the founders who will also be locked in for 3 years. 24% will be used for liquidity reserves, 20% as strategic reserves, 25% will be used as a reward for Publishers & Users. whilst 10% will be used for marketing purposes.
