YELLOW operates as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum. On top of this base layer, Yellow deploys the Nitrolite protocol, a state-channel framework that allows participants to transact off-chain while preserving the ability to enforce final settlement on-chain. Off-chain transactions are cryptographically co-signed by participants, and disputes can be resolved through on-chain smart contracts. This structure is intended to improve transaction throughput while maintaining blockchain-level security and finality.
The Yellow Network connects brokers, decentralized applications, liquidity providers, and node operators through a unified clearing framework. Within each state channel, at least one participant operates as a “clearnode,” providing liquidity routing and blockchain abstraction across supported networks.
The ecosystem also includes the Yellow Software Development Kit (SDK), which enables developers to integrate applications into the network without directly managing state-channel infrastructure. The SDK abstracts channel management, liquidity routing, and settlement logic, allowing teams to build trading platforms, brokerage systems, and other financial applications on top of the Yellow Network.
Development milestones include the rollout of the Layer-3 clearing architecture, production release of the Yellow SDK, and independently conducted smart contract audits. The roadmap includes the launch of Yellow’s decentralized trading platform built on the same clearing and settlement framework.
$YELLOW Token
$YELLOW is the native utility token of the Yellow. It has a fixed maximum supply of 10,000,000,000 tokens and does not include inflationary or algorithmic supply adjustment mechanisms.
The token is used for paying protocol-level fees, activating and operating network roles such as brokers, clearnodes and participating in governance mechanisms introduced in structured phases.
Yellow incorporates a payment abstraction model that allows users to pay network fees in supported assets such as ETH, BTC, or stablecoins. These payments are automatically converted into YELLOW, creating a unified fee and settlement layer across the ecosystem. Users who pay directly in YELLOW may receive discounted fees.
YELLOW does not grant ownership rights, equity, dividends, or claims on company assets. Its function is operational within the Yellow ecosystem.

Yellow is developed by Layer3 FinTech Ltd., supported by a founding team with experience in blockchain engineering, financial infrastructure, and distributed systems.
