Sbarter is a decentralised protocol that enables players to compete in skill-based events — challenges and tournaments — with real stakes attached, across a growing library of video games.
Sbarter is built for three types of participants: players who want their skill to mean something; creators who want to engage their communities through competitive events; and video game publishers (VGPs) who may choose to enhance the protocol experience by providing verified match data. Sbarter is operated by Sbarter Limited, a Malta-incorporated company fully controlled by Association Sbarter, a Swiss non-profit association that governs and maintains the protocol.
What Makes Sbarter Unique?
Sbarter is a neutral, non-profit infrastructure protocol — governed under Swiss law — that layers real-stakes, skill-based competition on top of existing video games without holding user funds, mediating contests, or deriving revenue from gameplay. Outcomes are determined exclusively by verified in-game performance transmitted by Video Game Providers acting as oracles, making the model legally and ethically distinct from gambling. Publishers earn per-match compensation for data provision, with no changes to gameplay and no regulatory exposure. The SBT token was deliberately kept out of retail speculation: the token sale targets only VGPs, institutional investors, and strategic partners, anchoring token value to actual protocol usage rather than market dynamics. Compliance is embedded at the protocol level, making Sbarter regulation-ready by design, not as an afterthought.
How Many Sbarter Tokens Are There in Circulation?
The SBT token is issued with a fixed maximum supply, capped at 25 billion units. The Sbarter token sale will offer a total of 14 billion SBT tokens, representing 56% of the total token supply.
Total supply split across 8 categories. Nearly all allocations have zero TGE unlock and are subject to cliffs of 6–12 months, reflecting a conservative, lock-heavy structure designed to signal long-term commitment.
The three largest holders — Institutional Investors (24%), Video Game Providers (20%), and Team & Founders (16.8%) — are all fully locked at TGE with 12-month cliffs and 24-month linear vesting. Reserve (11.7%) has the longest vesting at 48 months with no cliff.
The only exceptions to the zero-TGE rule are Marketing (5% unlocked at TGE) and Liquidity (50% unlocked at TGE), both justified by immediate operational needs.
Initial circulating supply is 4.15%, with a launch market cap of $250M FDV.
The SBT token serves as the exclusive utility asset within the Sbarter protocol. It is required for all transactional functions, including contest entry, stake management, reward distribution, and interaction with protocol-level features.
How Do I Get SBT Tokens?
You can acquire SBT Tokens through compatible third-party cryptocurrency exchanges, or directly within the app using the fiat on-ramp, which allows you to fund your wallet in your local currency. Sbarter does not sell SBT Tokens directly.
