About SOPH
SOPH is a technology studio building at the intersection of consumer finance and AI. The company raised $60M in 2024, and previously operated a ZK-powered layer-2 blockchain before sunsetting that chain to focus on apps in June 2026. The $SOPH token represents exposure to the full product portfolio.The first application to go live is Pyre, a self-custodial neobank and the first product in what SOPH calls entertainment finance. It is a daily payments app, built around a Visa card and on-chain vaults, where every transaction opens a playable "bill" inside the app, turning routine spending into something more engaging.
The $SOPH Token
The $SOPH token's primary utility is a buyback-and-burn programme. A portion of the revenue generated across Sophon's products, including Pyre, is used to buy SOPH, after which those tokens are permanently burned. This commenced on the 28th of June and will continue periodically.The programme is funded by product revenue rather than token emissions. Because repurchased tokens are destroyed rather than redistributed to holders, the circulating supply contracts over time.
